Super Bowl XLVII winners Beyonce and Oreo…wait what?

Perhaps I’m biased as a Steelers fan, but this Super Bowl did not get exciting to me until halftime when Beyonce made every girl (and many guys) scream with her amazing performance. Be unimpressed if you like, but you try to dance like that in heels and come back and tell me how that goes.  To make heart rates even higher there was a Destiny’s Child reunion. Be still my heart!

However, the real showstopper was the Oreo social media team. In response to the blackout that occurred in the Mercedes- Benz Superdome, they sent out the following tweet:

The last time I checked the tweet had 14,389 retweets and 4,860 favorites from the official Oreo account alone. Talk about quick response and wonderful brand messaging. Tide followed with a similar response, but Oreo is the true winner here.
